It's TIME!  That's right.  It is time for the annual Octoberfest in our downtown area.  Come on out and see what's available for you and your family.  The Antique Company Mall will be open during this time.  We have experienced upgrades to the street and sidewalks in front of the mall.  Completion of this new look is finally here.

Elements around the Home

An old chalkart figure and a china dinner plate keep us company in a corner cabinet. I am experimenting with ideas using "nests". Some with shells and some with candles. Let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Summertime

One way to enjoy these "dog days" of summer is to visit an old historic home that has been converted into a Bed and Breakfast. Go to the local diner or antique shop and absorb the rich culture of the area. It's one way to celebrate hometown USA.

On the way back from Joplin, Missouri, I got to stop at a beautiful home and garden center. I thought I was somewhere in Europe for a minute there. I like the use of natural elements to create a decorative area for the home.

April-New Horizons

These are pictures of my new space downstairs at the ACM near the historic downtown square in McKinney, TX. Moving from upstairs to downstairs took several days. My friend helped carry my packed items and arrange them, too (as time allowed). Also, I learned how to use the power drill to secure some old doors. Thanks to Ella Elaine!
